After 17 emergency calls on the 4th of July holiday, on Sunday the 5th, just after 10am, the Exeter Township Fire Department and mutual aid partners were dispatched to the 1100 block of Fox Run in Exeter Township for a reported structure fire with entrapment. Initial reports indicated up to three people trapped in the building. Upon arrival all residents were out of the house by jumping from 2nd floor windows and assistance from neighbors. Crews went into service with fire suppression and also searching for the pets in the residence. All units cleared the scene in just over two hours.

Later on Sunday, crews were dispatched to two additional working fires making it three working fires for the day.

Just after 7pm, the ETFD was dispatched to Kenhorst borough for RIT for a working fire with possible entrapment. All residents were safely accounted for and RIT was released when the fire was under control.

Later in the night, just after 9pm, the ETFD was dispatched to assist Oley Fire Company with a working garage fire attached to a house. Engine-Tanker 25 laid 700 feet of 5” supply hose up the long driveway and also provided a back up attack line.
