Exeter Fire crews had a busy weekend responding to structure fires, accidents with entrapment, hazmat calls, participating in community events, and of course selling Christmas Trees.

Here are some highlights.

On Saturday, crews assisted Amity Fire Company with a working barn fire. Tanker 25, Engine-Tanker 25, and Rescue 25 made the response.

On Sunday, Tower 25 and Rescue-Engine 25 were dispatched to North 5th Street in the City of Reading as part of the 2nd Alarm assignment for a working structure fire. Crews assisted with overhaul, and RIT. Later that night, crews participated in the Exeter Township Festival of Lights holiday event. Just after 10pm, units responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment and fire on Lincoln Road in Exeter Township. Crews arrived on scene to find two people and two dogs trapped in the vehicle. Both patients and the dogs were extricated from the vehicle.
