May 30, 2025

Earlier this week, Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department members completed our vehicle rescue training module, sharpening critical skills that matter when every moment counts during crashes. Vehicle rescue was the focus of the department's weekly Tuesday night training. During the hands-on training, crews practiced removing glass, doors and roofs from two different vehicles. The vehicle rescue preparation and training proved especially timely. While training Tuesday night, the ETVFD was dispatched to a crash on the 200 block of Gibraltar Road involving a car and motorcycle. Crews responded to a separate call Wednesday night involving two vehicles on the 5000 block of Perkiomen Avenue.
