The Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported tree that fell onto a home located at 4781 Oley Turnpike Road in Exeter Township. Arriving crews found a tree had uprooted and fell onto the front of the house, causing moderate damage. At the time the tree fell, the house was occupied by an adult female and two children. The adult and one child were transported to an area hospital by Life Lion EMS with non-life threatening injuries. A dog was also inside but was not injured. The dog was able to be sheltered in a separate safe place of the home. Fire personnel searched the house to ensure it was clear of any additional victims, as well as secured utilities. The house is currently uninhabitable.
