The ETVFD's weekly training for March is focused on engine and truck company operations. The training kicked off Tuesday with a review of hydrants, hose lines and pumping operations. Over the coming weeks, members will work on ground ladders, forceable entry and other areas to strengthen their skills.

Shortly after training ended Tuesday evening, crews were dispatched to a structure fire on the 100 block of Wood Lane in the township. The detached garage fire was quickly contained.
