The ETVFD's weekly training focused on honing members' skills in Vent-Enter-Isolate-Search (VEIS) tactics. VEIS is a critical strategy for rapid intervention and victim rescue in structure fires. Tuesday's training featured two stations that reviewed the different principles of VEIS, ensuring our crews are prepared to act quickly and effectively when lives are on the line. Over the next two weeks, our training will delve deeper into search and rescue tools and techniques, including the use of ground ladders and importance of rapid intervention teams. The ETVFD is always looking for new members who have a passion for helping others. Learn more and apply at joinetvfd.org
