Exeter Township Fire Department crews were dispatched Tuesday night for a two-vehicle crash with fire and entrapment on East Baumstown Road (Route 422 Eastbound) at South Center Road. Crews arriving were met with heavy fire from one of the vehicles involved in the crash. The fire spread to a parked car that was hit (not involved in the initial crash) but was quickly extinguished by firefighters. The road was shut down for several hours while the crash was investigated. Exeter crews were released from the scene within an hour.
