Growing larger than the original Breakfast Hut location, the Scouts Trunk-n-Treat was bigger and better this year. Families, friends, and kids were camping out in the Boscov’s Outlet parking lot on Tuesday night October 24, 2023. Exeter Township Fire Police Captain Greg Moll and Sargent Meg Moll were a big part in organizing and moving the event to the new location for the safety of all participants. With over 1,200 kids and 30 trunks, the event was a huge success. The Exeter Fire Police maintain traffic and crowed control to make sure all participants were safe and enjoyed nights event. There were Trunks from the 80’s, Toy Story and Haunted Houses to start off the Halloween season. The Exeter Fire Department, Mount Penn Fire Department, Exeter Township Road Crew and Exeter Police Department participated in the event by handing out candy and Halloween safety information. Thank you to the community for all who donated time and support for this event and we look forward to next year.
