Friday morning our day crew with some newer members was out training in Saint Lawrence. Getting out and practicing basic skills such as hose line advancement and ladder placement make our members more prepared in the event of an emergency. Knowing how much hose is needed or if a ladder will be tall enough to access a roof is better discovered in practice than in an emergency.
