The on-duty crew recently had some visitors. Students from The Morgan School stopped in for a tour of the station. Sgt. Jared Weeks then demonstrated what firefighters look like when they put on their turnout gear and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus). During this demonstration, Firefighter Eric Wachter explained why it is essential for us to have the protective equipment that we do.

Before the end of the tour, students had lunch with the on-duty crew, followed by a discussion on fire prevention and what to do if you are ever in an emergency situation.
