At approximately 10:20 PM on February 5th, crews responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Perkiomen Avenue and Oley Turnpike Road. Crews cleared debris and checked for hazards as the vehicle sat over a storm drain. Ensuring no hazardous materials enter the water system is part of the department's many duties when responding to such incidents. Crews were on location of the incident for roughly 15 minutes before going available.
