Just prior to 1130 on May 3rd rescue engine 25 was dispatch to assist company 4 (Lower Alsace) with a brush fire at Antietam lake park. Officers from company 4 arrived on location first and advised incoming units that there was a working brush fire. After arrival rescue engine25’s crew hiked into the incident area and began an initial fire attack along with units from company 4, company 1 and company 81. The fire was placed under control with a short period of time and crews remained on scene for roughly an hour and a half with fire attack and overhaul of the impacted area. Brush 25 also made the response to the call.
