A little before 1930 Rescue 25 was dispatched to Lower Hiedelberg township as 3rd due RIT for a 2nd alarm dwelling fire. Rescue 25 made the response with 5 plus a duty chief, shortly after arriving the crew was put to work and split into two teams to assist with suppression. Crews encountered fire conditions in the roof line and cockloft on the 2nd floor of the building. While rescue 25 was at the scene rescue engine 25 was transferred to cover company 18’s quarters while they operated at the scene. 25 remained on scene and standby for a few hours before returning home to the township of Exeter.
