A little before 1 am on Wednesday the engine company was dispatched as a cover unit to a reported building fire at the Penske headquarters in company 42’s (Cumru) first due. The engine made the response made the response with a crew of 4 followed by the on duty officer. The crew from the engine helped deploy a leader line into the building to gain access to the fire. It was approximately a 400 ft stretch from 42’s engine to the fire room. After a quick and aggressive attack the fire was contained to the room of origin with other parts of the building. only taking minor smoke and water damage. Units remained on scene for about 2 hours before returning to service.
