Fire and EMS crews had a busy Saturday morning, responding to five emergency incidents in a matter of hours. The first incident was a reported accident at West 47th Street and Perkiomen Avenue with unknown injuries and a possible vehicle fire. Crews arrived on scene to find three patients with on trapped and no fire. The units cleared the scene in about 30 minutes. Soon after clearing the first accident, a second accident with entrapment was reported on Oley Turnpike Road. Crews made the response and confirmed one vehicle overturned with a patient trapped. The units on scene extricated the patient and cleared the incident in about 30 minutes. Crews also responded to a medical emergency, carbon monoxide emergency, and a smoke condition.
