The Exeter Township Fire Department

Today several members participated in a "special assignment" in support of the Reading Area Firefighters Museum. Chief Bickings, retired Assistant Chief Trievel, and firefighters Harry Huhn, Rick Quattrock, Jeff Staller, and Patrick Bickings assisted the museum staff in transporting a 1909 American LaFrance steam fire engine from Schuylkill County to the museum's headquarters at South Fifth and Laurel Streets in Reading. The steam engine originally belonged to the Union Fire Company # 13 in Reading. The members were happy to help bring some of the Reading area's firefighting history back home. If you have not checked it out, please be sure to visit the museum! ... See MoreSee Less
