In the early morning hours of January 14th the Exeter Twp fire Dept. was dispatched for a house fire in Birdsboro Borough, with multiple calls coming in reporting fire showing from the dwelling. The first alarm assignment brought in Tower 25 and engine tanker 25 to the scene, while en-route Chief 7 went on scene and declared the incident a working fire and shortly after struck the second alarm. The second alarm then brought in engine 25. Tower 25 was tasked as the 2nd due truck company and was given the charlie side of the dwelling and to set up for master stream operations. Engine tanker 25 followed in and supplied water to the truck. Twoer 25 flowed water for about 90 minutes while the crews from both engines threw ground ladders and operated handlines. The fire was brought under control in a little under 2 hours. Engine 25’s crew assisted other crews on scene with the extensive overhaul that entailed. The tower, engine tanker and engine remained on scnene working for a about 3 hours before going available and returning to quarters.
