The ETVFD is Awarded The Red Cross Animal Rescue Hero Award

This past Friday, crews from the Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department were invited to a breakfast that honored local heroes from Berks County. The crew pictured received The Red Cross Animal Rescue Hero Award for their actions in an incident on Gaskill St during the historic flooding this past summer.
This is the 6th time that The ETVFD has been awarded a Red Cross Award.

The ETVFD Responds to Two Working Fires

In the past 24 hours, The ETVFD has responded to two working fires. Last evening at approximately 7:00 PM, Exeter was dispatched for a reported Structure Fire at Arkema. Upon arrival, Deputy 25-2 confirmed the reports and upgraded the assignment to a working fire. The ETVFD Takes Delivery of The New Brush 25

The Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department (ETVFD) is pleased to announce the delivery of the new Brush 25, our new 2023 Jeep Wrangler (JL) 2-door Rubicon.
The ETVFD Apparatus committee has worked diligently to design an almost direct replacement for our 1974 Jeep CJ-5, which has served the Reiffton Fire Company and the ETVFD for the last 50 years.

A Busy Week for The ETVFD

This past week was a busy one for The ETVFD. Personnel ran 38 emergency calls this past week for incidents such as Structure Fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents with Entrapment, Automatic Fire Alarms, etc. Between running calls, crews trained on apparatus and skills to keep their knowledge up.
